This is the best horseback riding ranch that I have had the pleasure of going to. Our tour guide was very helpful on everything that we asked and very attentive to us. Its a ride through the beauitful national forest its way better than the dell rides that your riding next to the road!! And as for the comment above about the creepy neighbors I know what she is talking about and that place is abadonned and way way way down the road not even close to the trails so that made no sense to put that a review I mean really! Anyways it is beter to call for reservations so u make sure u have a spot for riding. Well worth the money!! We will be coming back in the fall when all the colors are out. I can't wait!!!!
3 if you read this you should go too
2 I will be going back that's how nice it was
after driving past some seriously creepy neighbors (think:the movie, deliverance) this place looked like it would have had pretty nice horses. unfortunately, they don't need or want your business. we showed up as a small group of walk-ins during peak season in the middle of the day. the flier we picked up at the local gas station welcomed walk-ins. there was not a soul to be found anywhere on this ranch, that we could tell, nor were there any signs at all, whatsoever that would have hinted that they were not open that day for some reason. the only greeting we got was from an old dog when we knocked on the door of the deserted house after finding nobody at the common/recieving area. on our way back to our campground, we called BOTH of the numbers from the flier and left a message telling them that we were interested in a trail ride that day or even any time during the next day. we were not even given the courtesy of a return phone call. we would have appreciated any call back, even if all they said was "eat it, we're closed." these are times when good business should not be turned down when it is literally on you doorstep. even a young teenager could have easily received us and taken us on our ride. we were prepared to pay the full price of the ride, and my dad is the type who would have absolutely tipped $20 or more to the guide. in addition, i would have most certainly been prepared to write a glowing 5 star review. as it stands, i am only able to review my own experience, which adds up to bad customer service any way i look at it. ***my advice: call ahead, lest you be disappointed.***
the comment under this one is mean and rude because one the owner is very busy and the person probably called after hours two the area around the ranch is not creepy it's beautiful and full of nature and the owner and staff there are the sweetest people ever and the owner was probably at the resturant and her two amazing friendly sweet kind sons were probably there two and the horses are sooooo nice and 3 things are for sure 1 the person who posted the comment under me is wrong
